ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation at Brookmount Retreat is provided in a beautifully renovated 80 year old house. This is your home away from home - a place where you can experience the country life that we are lucky enough to have all the time. It is quiet and secure and has superb views of pure Australian country shared with sheep, cattle and horses! The house is a spacious building with 3 bedrooms, lounge room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, sunroom and 2 toilets. The 3 bedrooms are 1 Queen, 1 King Single twin, and 1 King Single and 1 Single trundle, all with warm and comfortable beds, electric blankets and doonas. All linen is provided. All entrances into the house are flat as the cottage has been renovated to accommodate people with special needs. The warm and inviting verandahs face north and west offering the perfect place to absorb the serenity of your surrounds and relax with a coffee and book! The lounge room is spacious with a very efficient wood heater that warms the whole house. There is also a D-TV with DVD /VCR / CD player. Books and games are also available. The house is self catering, fully equipped and very functional. There is an electric oven, gas cook top, microwave, slow cooker, wok and an electric fry pan .. or .. if you want the men to do the cooking, there is a undercover BBQ outside! A dishwasher and fridge/freezer is also provided. A laundry is complete with a washing machine and dryer. There is also a secure garage for travellers to keep their transport safe! The house is positioned away from the main homestead giving privacy but close enough to walk to if you want to join in with social or farm activities. John & Elizabeth are excellent hosts and enjoy sharing their farm life with guests.
RATESRates are per night, based on a minimum of 2 guests staying. Additional guests are charged at $35 per person per night.
Booking / Cancellation PolicyA deposit of one night's accommodation is required to secure your booking. The balance is payable on arrival. Bookings will be confirmed and secured upon receipt of your deposit. * Payment can be made by provision of your Credit Card details, EFT, a cheque or M.O. A full refund less handling fee for cancellations within 14 days of the booking. If under this time the deposit can be transferred to another time of your choice.
